New York, NY -- June 13, 2008 -- Before you invest time and money defending or proceeding with free downloading. There is one band that encourages giving away good music for free. What good up and coming artist wouldn’t? Good Day Good Night’s sophomore mix tape COMIC BOOKS has already accrued over 10,000 downloads and continues to gain numbers daily. This led this talented band, headed by Brooklyn’s own PRINT, to embark on a New York City Tour to spread the word to a larger audience. THE VOLUME I TOUR kicks off June 26th, in Brooklyn at Sputnik, a local bar and performance venue that boasts a roster of performances from the likes of Big Daddy Kane, Common, Talib Kweli, DJ Premier, M1, Mos Def, Fresh Daily, Mickey Factz and many more. YUME Music (www.yumebkny.blogspot.com), a division of the new Crown Heights based boutique and gallery, will be joining forces with The Brooklyn Bodega and THE VOL. I TOUR, to help Print and Good Day Good Night in the fight to save Hip Hop.
